COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE

The Sex and Gender Hub (formerly the Women, Sex, Gender Cross-cutting Program) continues to amplify sex and gender research in Phase 3 of CCNA (2024-2029) through communication and organization as a Community of Practice of what in Phase 2 were called, Sex and Gender Champions, representatives from each CCNA Team, Cross-cutting Program, and Platform.

Led by Dr. Gillian Einstein, the community of practice brings together anyone in the Canadian aging and dementia research community interested in knowing more, how to incorporate, or already incorporating sex and gender in their research.

We invite interested clinicians and scientists to join our community of practice. Using the Get Involved contact form, individuals can connect with us to learn about upcoming Sex and Gender Hub events, become a Sex and Gender Champion, and receive support to consider sex and gender in their own research programs.
